Completed: 2006-2010
Edward Windhorst was design partner at a prior firm for major revitalizations of the eight downtown Chicago Kennedy corridor bridges beginning with the Madison Street Bridge in 1995. Windhorst Gorski Architects has continued as construction phase consultant to the City of Chicago and the Illinois Department of Transportation for the Randolph, Jackson, Lake and Monroe street structures. In 2009 we were also retained to design retrofits for four bridges that subsequently had center entry ramps removed.
