South Side institution and the epicenter of Chicago’s South Side St. Patrick’s Day parade. Windhorst Gorski Architects designed a major building expansion that extends the existing bar into an all new space. A modern lounge space incorporates dark stained millwork, a stone fireplace and a moveable glass wall. The new front elevation respects the existing building, but a wood rain screen in the beer garden creates a dynamic, modern counterpoint.
