Edward Windhorst James Gorski Architects LLC was founded in 2004. Before that, Windhorst and Gorski worked together for seven years at DeStefano and Partners, Ltd., a large Chicago firm where Windhorst was a partner. The two formed their current practice chiefly to gain better and more personal control over the work of design.
Windhorst-Gorski Architects has completed 200 projects since its inception. A representative range of work is illustrated on this website. We are pleased to serve clients and take projects large and small, always with the goal of making every product of our efforts a distinguished design.
We have special experience in the design of streetscapes, in bridge architecture, and in the detailed design of architectural steel. We practice from Chicago's 1890 Monadnock Building, pictured at left, at one time the largest office building in the world.
